Full satisfaction for the Argillà Festival 2025

  • September 4, 2025

The second edition of Argillà as a Festival closes with new success and fully consolidated as the major event for the ceramics sector in Southern Europe.

This year, Argentona has received nearly 20 thousand visitors, who were able to visit 66 high-quality exhibitors and an artistic offering with two night shows, three exhibitions, two ceramic showcases, two cineramic sessions, and one musical artistic performance. Three days of great activity, with ceramics and its culture at the center of everything.

On Friday, the official inauguration was held, which featured the prominent presence of the President of the Parliament of Catalonia, the MH Josep Rull, as well as the Moroccan consul Charif Cherkaoui, who offered Argentona a twinning with one of the pottery-rich cities in his country. Alongside Mayor Montse Capdevila and Councilor Quim Capdevila, they were the protagonists of the official speeches, in an event that also included a musical performance.

A very prominent point of attraction throughout the weekend was la plaça de l’Església: there we had the space dedicated to Morocco as a guest country (with a wide display of its ceramics and gastronomy), and a continuous movement of visitors around the Museu del Càntir, with the sale of Benedetta Tagliabue’s càntir of the year, guided tours and exhibitions.

Once again, the organization has been carried out by the Museu del Càntir and the Argentona City Council, with the support of the Diputació de Barcelona and the Generalitat de Catalunya. We have also had the valuable collaboration of Radio Argentona, Sio-2, Anper, Pando, AeCC, Centre Parroquial d’Argentona, Associació Ceramistes de Catalunya and Amics del Museu del Càntir.
