I am Jaume Vilà and I have been making ceramics for 40 years. I started learning ceramics at the Tarragona School of Arts and later at the Massana School in Barcelona and I have continued to learn during all these years in all the workshops and schools that I have had and worked with. First in Puigcerdà (School of Art) after the La Moixera Workshop in Reus and, now, at the Poterie “La Ferme” in Angostrina (France).
JAUME VILA BERTRAN
Utilitarian and decorative pieces in stoneware. Cooked in reduction at 1280ºC.
Mugs, bowls, plates, glasses, all made with great care to make those who use them enjoy. The stoneware has great resistance and the reduction firing allows the color of the glazes to change in each piece, making it unique.
Decorative pieces that can go outside and suffer extreme temperatures from both heat, cold and ice.
